SPIRIT OF THE WEST

Description:

Celebrating the love for Western music, we bring forth a platform for western singers of all genres to compete and showcase their talent in front of judges and an audience who understands and appreciate western music. If you are passionate about music and your soul craves tossing your heart out, well then what are you waiting for? Do you have what it takes to become the soul of the West? Rules & Regulations:

1. Judging will be based on vocals.
2. If the artists bring musicians for help, he will be judged on coordination. 2 musicians are allowed maximum.
3. Karaoke music is allowed, but the music should be provided by the artist before event.
4. Time management is mandatory for the performance. Performance time is 4 minutes and marks will be deducted if the time limit is exceeded.
5. Any genre of Western Music is allowed. Medleys are not allowed.
6. Artists should be prepared in all aspects. (Guitars should be tuned before performances and lyrics should be memorized)
7. Artists will be required to perform 1 song per round and will have to perform a different song for each round. There will be 2 rounds: the first round being the qualifying round and the second being the final round.
8. All artists should reach the venue before the event starts, at least 30 minutes before.
9. Artists are not allowed to bring any guests.

 

Registration:
Rs.500 per team, Maximum of 3 members are allowed per team (University)

Rs.300 per team, Maximum of 3 members are allowed per team (School)
