FASHION FIESTA

Fashion shows are fun and creative way of highlighting some of the ethical issues surrounding the fashion industry. Fashion fiesta brings you that and more.

Tectiqs'18 is looking forward for the groundbreaking work of today's innovative emerging designers.

 

Competition

The competition consists of parts spread over two days.

Day 1: Illustration competition

Time duration:3

1. Participants will make the illustration of the garment.
2. Participants must bring their own material i.e. paints, pencils, colors etc., only drawing sheets/papers will be provided by the organizers.
3. Any medium can be used.

Day 2: Garment construction and display based on the illustration .

Time duration: 5 hours

1. Participants will construct the garment. (the same they had rendered on day 1)
2. The marking will be partially based on how close the garment resembles the illustration.
3. Participants must have basic structure underneath ready before day 2.

 

Rules, Regulations and Instructions:

1. Maximum five members are allowed per team including their model and makeup artist.
2. Participants must reach the venue an hour earlier before the competitions starts.
3. Cheating will result in disqualification.
4. Participation fees will not be refunded in case of disqualification or withdrawal.

 

Criteria of Judgment:

1. Resemblance between the illustration and the final garment.
2. Material usage
3. Creativity
4. Practicality

 

Registration:
Rs.1000 per team, Maximum of 5 members are allowed per team (University)
